I’ve been watching this docuseries for the past week and it has been an incredible eye-opener.

For the past several years — prompted by my own intuition — I have eliminated many chemicals and toxins throughout my household: beauty products, soaps, cleaning supplies, lawn treatment, plastics, etc. I’m leery of any food that’s not organic, have eliminated meat, dairy (almost there but it’s a hard one), eggs, and most processed foods. Sugar is my crack but I’m working on that too.

My health is very important to me. We’re gifted with a human body and it has to last us until the very end — whatever that looks like. And since I want to stick it out for the long haul, I figure I better buck it up. It’s not an overnight process for anyone and it can be quite expensive. That’s a problem for everyone…not just me. I feel like everyone should have a right to this lifestyle if it’s a path that compels them, however, some people simply don’t have the extra money required for such a luxury. And it saddens me to no end.

So, I digress because what I really want to talk about are plants!

I’m not a fan of Big Pharma — not even a little. I can’t even tell you the last time I took an antibiotic. I simply refuse to unless it’s absolutely 100% necessary. However, I…
